There could be several reasons why you are not receiving ZDF, ZDF Neo, ZDF Info, 3sat, etc. on your television. Another reason could be that there is a technical issue with your TV or set-top box that is preventing these channels from being received. I would recommend contacting your TV service provider to inquire about the availability of these channels and to troubleshoot any technical issues. **

ARD and ZDF are public service broadcasters in Germany, funded by mandatory fees paid by all households with a TV or radio. This funding model is designed to ensure that the broadcasters remain independent and provide programming that serves the public interest, without being influenced by commercial interests. If ARD and ZDF were to become pay-TV channels, it would limit access to their programming and go against their mission to provide information and entertainment to all citizens, regardless of their ability to pay. Additionally, it would likely lead to a decrease in the diversity and quality of programming available to the public. **

The TV may not be able to find ARD and ZDF channels due to several reasons. It could be a technical issue with the TV's tuner or antenna, which may need to be repositioned or replaced. Additionally, there could be a signal interference or reception problem in the area where the TV is located. It's also possible that the channels are not available in the TV's current location or that they have been removed from the broadcast lineup. Troubleshooting steps such as rescanning for channels or contacting the TV service provider may help resolve the issue. **
